Consultation – Regulations to establish Corporate Joint Committees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mae\u2019r Gweinidog Tai a Llywodraeth Leol yn lansio ymgynghoriad ffurfiol ar y rheoliadau drafft a fydd yn sefydlu pedwar Cyd-bwyllgor Corfforedig rhanbarthol yng Nghymru. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bwriedir i\u2019r Cyd-bwyllgorau arfer y swyddogaethau hynny sy\u2019n ymwneud \u00e2 chynlluniau datblygu strategol a chynllunio trafnidiaeth rhanbarthol. Byddant hefyd yn gallu gweithredu er mwyn hybu llesiant economaidd eu hardaloedd.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hoffem ofyn am eich barn ar y rheoliadau a fydd yn sefydlu’r Cyd-bwyllgorau Corfforedig hyn \u2013 gan nodi eu hardal, y trefniadau llywodraethu craidd a chyfansoddiadol, cyllid, darpariaethau ar gyfer staffio a’r gweithlu, a’r swyddogaethau y byddant yn eu harfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, the Minister for Housing and Local Government is launching a formal consultation on the draft regulations which will establish four regional CJCs across Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The intention is for them to exercise functions relating to strategic development planning and regional transport planning; they will also be able to do things to promote the economic well-being of their areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We wish to seek your views on the regulations which will establish these CJCs – setting out their area, the core governance and constitutional arrangements, finance and funding, provisions for staffing and workforce, and the functions which they will exercise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The consultation paper and supporting documentation can be accessed via the Welsh Government website: https:\/\/gov.wales\/regulations-establish-corporate-joint-committees<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closing date for response is Monday 4 January 2021. We look forward to receiving your responses to this consultation and to continuing to work in partnership to take this forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
