Llanfiahngel Ystrad Community Council recently installed a defibrillator in Temple Bar, Lampeter.
The defibrillator was purchased with Council funds, a grant from Calon Hearts and donations in memory of the late Mr. Ken Davies, Felinfach.
This is the fourth defibrillator in the constituency including Cribyn, Felinfach and Dihewyd.
Cllr. Gerwyn Owen, Chair of the Community Council said “We are pleased that with the installation of this defibrillator at Temple Bar that each area within the constituency of Llafihangel Ystrad now has one of these life-saving devices. We are very grateful to Calon Hearts and the Davies family for their support.
Sharon Owen of Calon Hearts said: “It’s fantastic that Llanfihangel Ystrad Community. Council has identified the importance of the need of another defibrillator within their area. The more communities that can find a home for one the better the chance of saving lives.”
